How To Install a Whirlpool® Water Filtration System
If you lack plumbing experience, you will need some patience but you can save yourself money by installing Whirlpool® water filters yourself.

Installation Tools You Will Need

Slotted and Phillips screwdrivers

Pliers and adjustable jaw wrench

Tubing or box cutter
4
Electric drill and 1-1/4” drill bit if mounting hole is needed for the faucet
5
Sealant tape such as Teflon® tape Water Filters DIY Installation
When you get a Whirlpool® water filtration system, it comes complete with a decorative faucet, filters and the necessary hardware for a typical installation.
Water Filtration System Installation Steps
- Install a fitting (included) to the cold water supply.
- Create a hole for the filtered water faucet. If you have an existing hole, soap dispenser or water sprayer, you can remove and use this hole for your filtered water faucet.
- Install faucet (included)
- Connect tubing (included) from the system to the fitting and filtered water faucet.
