1. Inlet water enters carbon pre-filter to:
-Remove sediment and chlorine
-Improve taste
-Protect RO membrane from premature failure
2. Water leaves pre-filter and proceeds to RO membrane
3. Water is forced through the RO membrane
4. Processed water flows to the storage tank
5. Water with dissolved solids is flushed to the drain
6. Faucet is activated
7. Water flows from tank to carbon post-filter to further improve taste and remove odor
8. Water flows from post-filter to faucet
